	about me "I believe that if you have a passion or a desire in life, then you should pursue it. I did! My name is Zoë Newman, I'm 33 years old and I live in north Hampshire. I have been drawing and painting since I was barely old enough to hold a pencil! I studied all aspects of art throughout school and then college, gaining GCSEs and National Diplomas along the way. Upon leaving college, I moved into the commercial world of advertising and have worked for several agencies, migrating into the client handling side as I also love people! But, my love of fine art has never left me and has been something I've always wanted to pursue further and I promised myself that one day I would focus on it full time. My style has evolved over the years; I began sketching and painting a wide range of subject matters experimenting with many different types of media such as: watercolours, charcoal and pen and ink. Then about two years ago, I became intrigued with oils! Ever since then, I have developed my own style of oil painting, working with different ideas, colours and textures and applying them to different forms. I love the way that oil can allow me to be so hugely expressive; each piece creates a different meaning for every individual. I hope you enjoy my work."
